Waiting can sometimes feel like lost time, but it turns into a chance to enjoy simple pleasures when you find the right spot. While our SUV was getting its graphene coating and paint protection film, we dine at a cozy corner of The French Baker in SM Megamall. It became the perfect place to indulge as bread lovers and coffee lovers, sharing food, drinks, and deep conversations that stretched across life plans and everything in between.

The Perfect Spot for Bread Lovers and Coffee Lovers

The French Baker is a haven for anyone who appreciates quality baked goods and well-crafted coffee. As a bread lover, the aroma of freshly baked bread is irresistible. We tried their cinnamon bread and garlic bread, both warm and soft with just the right balance of flavors. The cinnamon bread had a gentle sweetness with a hint of spice, while the garlic bread was savory and fragrant, perfect for pairing with a cup of hot double shot cappuccino.

The coffeeโ€™s smooth bitterness balanced the sweetness of the cinnamon bread and the savory notes of the garlic bread, creating a delightful taste experience.

More Than Just Food and Drink

What made the visit truly memorable was the atmosphere and the company. The French Bakerโ€™s cozy seating area allowed us to relax and dive into meaningful conversations. We talked about our future goals, shared stories from the past, and laughed over small moments. The oatmeal raisin cookie added a sweet finish to our meal, chewy and packed with raisins that felt like little bursts of sunshine in every bite.

This moment of connection was enhanced by the food and drinks. As bread lovers and coffee lovers, we found joy not only in the flavors but in the shared experience. It reminded us how food can bring people closer, making waiting time feel like a gift rather than a delay.
